Anne Riesenfeld

Executive Director

Anne Riesenfeld has enjoyed a 25-year career as a professional performer and administrator specializing in vocal and choral music. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in performance and composition from Bennington College, and a Master’s degree in vocal performance from the New England Conservatory. Anne has performed as a soloist and chorus member in the United States and Europe, with multiple recordings on the Telarc label. She was on the voice faculty at the New School of Music before taking on the role of Executive Director, which she held for five years. She served for thirteen years as the Executive Director of the Cambridge-based choral ensemble Musica Sacra. Anne is inspired by Lorelei Ensemble’s honest, powerful sound and their shared passion for expanding the repertoire for women’s voices.
